Elaine knows and loves the region where she has lived since childhood. She and her husband Dick raised their six children in north Florida. Elaine built a successful business here. She is also proud to have made a difference by serving her neighbors and the community.

As an active community volunteer and devoted public servant, Elaine has worked to improve conditions for all. She has stood up for local business and non-profits, for the economy and the environment.

ELAINE AND OUR MILITARY

Elaine Brown has a deep appreciation for every individual who serves America in our military. She has shown her devotion as a member of the Jacksonville City Council, especially through her support for Mayport and the active and retired personnel who live in Jacksonville.

Elaine knows personally the ultimate sacrifice of military service. That's because her father's Purple Heart is her only memory of him. Elaine's dad was killed fighting in World War II, just before Elaine was born.
